Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced nurse to lead our epilepsy nursing team. The successful candidate will work closely with our lead consultant to shape the service we deliver to patients and will collaborate with the team to review the service and implement novel ways of working.

The post covers all UHS activity including Southampton and Portsmouth. We support flexible working and offer learning and development opportunities.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to lead our epilepsy nursing team.

The successful candidate will work closely with our lead consultant to help shape the service we deliver to our patients andwill work with their team to review the service offered and implement novel ways of working.

The post covers all UHS activity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the Southampton and Portsmouth services.

The ability to implement change is essential for this role. We are seeing an ever increasing number of patients on our service. New ways of working will be necessary to see them all in a timely way.
