Job summary

Education Authority in Castlereagh EOTAS Centre seeks an ICT and General Subjects Teacher with Transition Support responsibilities. The role involves delivering ICT, GCSE/Level 2 General subjects and Occupational Studies Level 2 to pupils with social, behavioural, emotional and wellbeing needs, including outreach work.

You will develop individual transition plans, mentor pupils, and collaborate with families, schools and agencies to promote engagement and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach ICT and general subjects in post-primary education.
• Experience teaching ICT in a post-primary environment.
• Ability to teach Level 2 subjects including Occupational Studies.
• Demonstrated ability to support transition for SBEW pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver ICT, General subjects and Level 2 Occupational Studies.
• Provide transition support to pupils and liaise with referring schools.
• Monitor progress, maintain records and support pastoral care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support SBEW learners.
