Job summary

Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) invites applications for a Senior DevOps Engineer aligned to the Government Digital and Data Capability Framework, based in Westminster. This is a short-term, 12-month assignment within a modernising digital delivery capability.

• Transform complex technical requirements into an effective and automated DevOps toolchain to enable seamless product delivery.
• Provide strategic technical support to delivery teams, applying deep technical knowledge to solve complex infrastructure and operational problems.
• Design and implement deployment strategies for digital products that are repeatable, scalable, and highly available.
• Lead the automation of systems and the maintenance of development standards across the organization.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert within the team, reporting to the Lead Application Operations Engineer.
