Job summary

Department for Culture, Media and Sport is recruiting for a Lead Application Operations Engineer to support live services and ensure reliable IT systems across the department. You will work with colleagues and suppliers to maintain operations, improve processes and resolve issues, while aligning with government digital and data standards and driving reduction of manual tasks.

• Work with and manage supplier contributions to live service operations.

This is a short-term role for a maximum of 1 year, which is available on both level transfer and temporary promotion. This role is aligned to Lead Application Operations Engineer on the Government Digital and Data Profession Capability Framework. You will support the effective operation of live services, working with colleagues and suppliers to maintain reliable systems, improve processes, and resolve operational issues.
