Job summary

Uniting People is seeking an experienced Envoy API Engineer to join a major banking programme onsite in Glasgow. You will apply hands-on expertise with Envoy Proxy/Gateway, API security, and cloud-native tooling to deliver secure APIs.

The role requires strong RESTful API design, OpenAPI specification knowledge, and solid DevOps skills including CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Banking/financial services experience is essential, with a 6-month contract and £425/day Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Envoy Proxy or Envoy Gateway.
• Solid API security and cloud-native engineering background.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI Spec.

Responsibilities
