Job summary

Helsing GmbH is seeking an Environment Test Engineer to design and run environmental stress campaigns across drone subsystems and Ground Support Equipment. You will implement vibration, thermal cycling, dust and water ingress tests, and corrosion probing while coordinating with the Environmental Cluster within the Test Department.

The role requires hands-on experience with environmental chambers, vibration tables, and precise instrumentation, plus familiarity with ITAR/EAR export controls

Qualifications

Experience designing and executing environmental test campaigns.
Knowledge of structural mechanics, material fatigue, and vibration dynamics.
Experience with thermal chambers, IR imaging, and thermocouple mapping.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and analyze environmental stress tests for drone subsystems and GSE hardware.
Cover vibration, thermal cycling, IP spray, humidity, and altitude simulation campaigns.
Ensure test coverage continuity across subsystems and absorb overflow.
