  • Monitor and report on carbon emissions, energy efficiency, and sustainability performance.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders on environmental matters.
  • Promote sustainable engineering practices, including waste reduction, renewable energy integration, and circular economy principles.
  • Lead training and awareness programmes to embed sustainability across the business.
  • Stay updated on emerging environmental legislation and industry best practices.
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field and equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in environmental and sustainability management, ideally within power generation, energy, or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, carbon reporting, and ESG frameworks.
  • Experience with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive sustainability initiatives at all levels.
  • Chartered status (e.g., IEMA, CIWEM) or working towards accreditation.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and decarbonisation strategies.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary (£55K-£65K) and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to lead sustainability in a high-impact engineering sector.
  • Career development in a growing, forward-thinking company.
