Environmental & Sustainability Manager

They are dedicated to reducing environmental impact while delivering innovative and efficient power systems. As part of their growth, they are seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Manager to lead sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

The Role

As the Environmental & Sustainability Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing environmental strategies to minimise the ecological footprint of power projects and assets. You will ensure compliance with environmental legislation, drive sustainability best practices, and support the business in achieving its net-zero and ESG goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental and sustainability policies, strategies, and management systems.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international environmental regulations (e.g., ISO 14001, ESOS, SECR, Net Zero targets).
• Conduct environmental assessments and audits, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
• Support the business in achieving sustainability certifications and goals.
• Engage with stakeholders, including regulators, clients, and community groups, on environmental matters.
