As an Environment & Sustainability Lead, you will play a key role in leading environmental standards and driving innovation across multiple sites. This role provides an opportunity to engage directly with clients and internal teams to ensure that environmental considerations are at the forefront of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Environmental Compliance: Provide expert guidance to ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, monitor performance, and conduct audits and inspections.
• Sustainability Strategy: Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and biodiversity plans, to drive positive environmental outcomes.
• Data & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report environmental performance data to internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Innovation in Sustainability: Identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance environmental sustainability across projects, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of environmental innovation within the company.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Attend client meetings, raise the company’s environmental profile, and provide training to internal teams to ensure environmental goals are met.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Proven experience in an environmental or sustainability role, with a solid understanding of environmental legislation and sustainability issues within the construction industry to come in and influence.
• Sustainability Expertise: Knowledge of sustainability assessments and environmental performance frameworks.
• Communication Skills: Clear communicator, able to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels, delivering key messages effectively.
• Data & Reporting Skills: Strong data management and analysis abilities, with experience in reporting environmental performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Leadership: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams, guide projects, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
