Senior Environmental Advisor

Location: Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy and supporting Business Units to meet waste and carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This is an agile role with up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide specialist guidance and advice to EHS teams and Project leads on environment and sustainability to meet requirements.
• Support risk management through environmental assurance regimes, audits, and inspections.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
• Develop and maintain performance data and carbon management reports.
• Review environmental aspects and impacts, including climate change risks, for Business Units.
• Support project teams to embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

You will have experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within relevant industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor
• Experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice for business operations
• Experience reducing environmental impact of equipment and infrastructure through product lifecycle stages
• Experience managing complex technical and change projects
• Full driving license and flexibility for UK-wide travel
