Senior Environmental Advisor - Warwickshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Environmental and Sustainability Manager, the Environmental and Sustainability Specialist (Senior Environmental Advisor) will play a key role in implementing Telent's Sustainability Strategy. You will support Business Units in meeting waste reduction, carbon reduction objectives, customer expectations, ISO14001 standards, and legal requirements across Rail and Asset Management divisions. This role involves up to 50% UK-wide travel.

What you’ll do:

• Provide expert guidance to EHS teams and project leads on environmental and sustainability matters to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Support risk management by establishing and maintaining environmental assurance programs, including audits and inspections.
• Assist in preparing sustainability and carbon reduction plans for contracts and bids.
• Develop and maintain performance data and generate carbon management reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure regular reviews of environmental impacts and climate change risks within Business Units.
• Help embed sustainable and carbon reduction practices throughout the Project Life Cycle.

Who you are:

You have experience in a similar Environmental & Sustainability role within industries such as Rail, Telecoms, Utilities, or Construction.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: PIEMA
• ISO14001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
• Proven experience providing technical sustainability and environmental advice
• Track record of reducing environmental impacts through product lifecycle management
• Experience managing complex technical projects and change initiatives
• Full driving license and willingness to travel UK-wide
