Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our environment team, co-located across the UK, supporting a regional team of design and operation staff. You will identify environmental risks, coordinate inputs (ecology, archaeology, drainage, geotechnical, contaminated land, landscape, noise) and deliver tasks at milestones, including EIA screenings and environmental plans.

Qualifications

Chartered with a relevant professional body or actively working towards chartership.
Experience in identifying environmental risks across project lifecycles.
Ability to plan, organise and communicate to ensure project outcomes.
Experience liaising with regulators and stakeholders.
Proven ability to travel to sites with driving licence.

Responsibilities

Identify environmental risks throughout the project lifecycle from solution definition to completion.
Develop mitigation measures considering cost, time, compliance, safety and social impacts.
Coordinate inputs (ecology, archaeology, drainage, geology) to meet standards and timelines.
Produce environmental deliverables at milestones (EIA screening, plans).
Lead liaison with environmental regulators and clients on environmental matters.
Contribute to training and environmental improvement projects at local/regional levels.
