Job summary

Test Valley Borough Council in Andover is seeking an Environmental Services Officer to tackle environmental crime and protect local streets and neighbourhoods. You will respond to reports, carry out site visits and gather evidence to support prosecutions.

As an Environmental Services Officer, you will play a vital role in tackling environmental crime across the borough, helping to maintain clean, attractive neighbourhoods for our residents, visitors and businesses.

About The Role

As an Environmental Services Officer, you will:

• Respond to reports of environmental crime and carry out site visits and inspections across the borough
• Gather evidence and prepare case files for prosecution
• Conduct interviews and engage with members of the public, businesses and partner organisations

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will receive training and support to develop your knowledge, skills and confidence, enabling you to build a rewarding career in environmental enforcement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:
