Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a 16-week interactive learning experience covering:

  • General Training & Comprehension: Hands-on and technical training in housekeeping and laundry operations.
  • Leadership Development: Training in staff support, quality control, and compliance.
  • Policies & Procedures: Leading quality standards, safety, and customer service.
  • Reporting: Record-keeping and documentation skills.
  • Training & Quality Control: Staff training and quality assessments.
  • Leadership Skills: Managing payroll, staffing, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.

Additional responsibilities include effective communication, safety adherence, punctuality, customer interaction, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications
  • Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, and perform routine tasks.
  • Leadership skills post-training to operate independently and safely.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities regularly.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Residence within the service area.
