Position: Environmental Research Assistant

We are seeking an Environmental Research Assistant to join our busy technical team on a full-time basis for a period of 12 months. The successful candidate will work directly with our Senior Environmental Editor.

Responsibilities

1. Utilize multiple resources for research purposes, including Non-Government Organisations, system manufacturers, and other scientific technical resources.
2. Identify, consolidate, and summarize key research findings relevant to the shipping industry, and share these within the technical team.
3. Assist the Senior Environmental Editor with creating and updating publications.
4. Work closely with the Senior Environmental Editor to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
5. Assist with planning and coordination of research projects.
6. Perform any other activities required by the company.

Required Skills and Knowledge

1. PhD or master’s degree (distinction grade), preferably in a science, geography, or environmental-related field.
