Job summary

Thames Water Utilities Limited is seeking an External Partnership Lead to develop and deliver strategies that reduce sewer misuse across the Thames Water region. You will engage with schools, hospitals, businesses, regulators and other stakeholders to drive compliance, raise awareness and influence behavioural change to improve wastewater network performance.

The role is predominantly remote with hybrid meetings across and around Reading, Crossness and other catchment areas.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with schools, councils and external stakeholders
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in field environments
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage multiple external partnerships

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and engagement of external partnerships to reduce sewer misuse
• Manage relationships with local authorities, trusts and other stakeholders
• Deliver education and enforcement actions where required to improve compliance
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high levels of compliance and awareness
• Coordinate field team activities to ensure actions are completed and documented
