Essential experience includes managing environmental compliance on site projects, incident investigation, and carbon reduction reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong environmental management background within major infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction projects.
• Experience managing environmental compliance on site-based projects.
• Environmental incident investigation experience.
• Carbon reduction and sustainability reporting experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental and sustainability activities across the project.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, permits, licences and project requirements.
• Support project teams in understanding and delivering environmental responsibilities.
• Investigate environmental incidents and identify corrective actions.
• Review environmental performance data and implement improvement measures.
• Develop environmental awareness campaigns and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and review environmental management plans, procedures and reports.
• Manage environmental risks and ensure effective controls are implemented.
• Support environmental permitting, consents and licensing activities.
• Produce environmental performance reports and presentations.
• Engage with clients, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Support tender submissions and environmental award applications.
