Job Description:

Allen & York are working with a leading airport in the south west of England to recruit an Environmental Management Specialist for the Planning & Corporate Affairs Team, supporting their Sustainability Strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Sustainability and Social Value, you will provide expert advice on waste, water, air quality, noise, and carbon management, with a focus on carbon management. You will engage with various internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities include maintaining the airport's carbon model to meet reduction targets, delivering sustainability projects such as solar installations and an Energy Centre, and preparing disclosures like ESOS and SECR for annual accounts.

Qualifications include a relevant degree, Associate Membership of IEMA, and experience in environmental and carbon management. Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship-building are essential. Experience in infrastructure or aviation sectors is advantageous but not mandatory.

The role is based on-site at the airport with a hybrid working model, allowing two to three days remote work per week, initially requiring three days in the office.
