Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Science, Maths and English.
• Good attention to detail with accurate sample preparation and analysis.
• Strong organisation to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident with computers and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and analysing environmental samples such as water, soil, and waste.
• Operating laboratory instrumentation and performing testing per industry methods.
• Recording and reviewing results using LIMS.
• Delivering high-quality data within deadlines.
• Performing QC checks and aiding investigations when results vary.
• Assisting with calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Assisting with preparation and dispatch of sample kits.
