A leading consultancy firm is seeking an Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Protection Team. This role involves investigating nuisance complaints, assessing applications, and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation. We are looking for a skilled officer who is competent, enthusiastic, and highly motivated to join our Environmental Protection Team.
Your duties will include investigation and response to complaints related to statutory nuisance allegations, assessing and approving s.61 applications, permitting, and responding to licensing consultations.
You must have working knowledge and understanding of the nuisance provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, knowledge of licensing legislation, and excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
