A leading company in Hampshire is urgently seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer. The successful candidate will inspect food premises to ensure compliance with food hygiene, food standards, and health safety regulations. Applicants must hold relevant qualifications and demonstrate competency in the inspection of food establishments.

Qualifications

• Competency in the Inspection of Food Establishments (Cluster 4).
• At least 10 hours of Food Core CPD.
• Relevant qualifications and registration with EHORB required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect 150 food premises across risk categories C, D & E for food hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with food standards and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records of qualifications and CPD certificates.

Job description

Our client in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer toinspect150 food premises across risk categories C, D & E for food hygiene, food standards, and health and safety.

Inspecting officers must hold one of the following baseline qualifications and associated registration:

Higher Certificate in Food Control

Certificate of Registration

Diploma issued by the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHORB)

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate competency in theInspectionof Food Establishments (Cluster 4) and possess at least 10 hours of Food Core CPD, as specified in the current version of the Food Law Code of Practice and Practice Guidance.

Please note that a copy of relevant qualifications, CPD certificates, and certificates of registration with EHORB/EHRB must be held on file by Buckingham Futures before the contract commences.
