MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd is seeking a Semi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team in Dartford, UK, on residential oil spill projects. You will work on environmental restoration and safety, following site procedures and safety policies.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary and opportunities to develop practical skills in groundworks while supporting pollution-response services for the insurance sector. Travel and away-work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.
• Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.

Responsabilités

• Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.
• Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.
• Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.
• Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.
• Work away periodically
