Job summary

American Society of Civil Engineers seeks a Ground Remediation Engineer to join an established environmental services business delivering practical remediation solutions in the UK. The role involves supporting investigations, developing strategies, and liaising with clients and regulators.

The candidate will travel to project sites, hold a full UK driving licence, and reside in or near Lisburn with flexibility to relocate within Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental, geoenvironmental, or contaminated land preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Supporting contaminated land and groundwater investigations.
• Developing and implementing remediation strategies.
• Monitoring remediation works and site activities.
• Preparing technical reports and project documentation.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators and stakeholders.
• Supporting project delivery across multiple sites.
• Travel to client and project sites as required.
