Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental enforcement and knowledge of enforcement procedures
• Understanding of relevant legislation and cross-agency collaboration
• Ability to manage complex caseloads and produce clear legal documentation

Responsibilities

• Investigate environmental crimes and related offences, including case management and evidence gathering
• Conduct site inspections and issue notices where appropriate
• Prepare cases for prosecution and assist in court appearances
• Coordinate with agencies such as Police, HMRC, and London Fire Brigade to resolve issues
• Perform proactive patrols and generate management information and reports
