A leading international school in Greater London is looking for an Environmental Education and Lower School Science Teacher. In this full-time role, you will design and teach science and environmental education for young students, promote inquiry-based learning, and deliver programs at Canons Park. Hours: Full-time
Contract: ASL term time, August - June

The Environmental Education and Lower School Science Teacher will design, prepare for, and teach science and environmental education to students in grades K1-G4. This role serves as the primary science instructor for Grade 1 and Grade 2 students, co‑teaches science with K1 and K2 classroom teachers, and delivers experiential environmental education programs at Canons Park for all lower school students. The main purpose of the role is to provide expert science instruction, facilitate differentiated learning experiences, and foster environmental stewardship while supporting classroom teachers' professional development in science pedagogy. Enhancing teaching and learning through inquiry‑based, hands‑on science education is the primary objective of the role.

These are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview. You may be asked for further information about your criminal history during the recruitment process. If your application is successful, this self‑disclosure information will be checked against information from the Disclosure & Barring Service before your appointment is confirmed.
