Job summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Environmental Manager will oversee the environmental management systems, regulatory compliance activities and accreditation programmes. Working across the business, this role will collaborate with colleagues in Technical, Production, Finance and Sales, while maintaining strong relationships with regulators, external contractors and industry bodies.

This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home while regularly visiting the company's

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing environmental management initiatives across marine and freshwater operations.
• Maintaining and enhancing the Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Coordinating environmental accreditation schemes and associated audits.
• Monitoring environmental performance and ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating statutory returns and communications with regulatory bodies.
