Job summary

ITM Power is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the company’s environmental management system and regulatory compliance across its operations. You will coordinate audits, permits, and sustainability programmes while engaging with R&D, production, procurement, and facilities teams.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage ESG/ISO 14001 compliance, and liaise with regulators to ensure environmental performance and reporting excellence across the organisation.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in an environmental, compliance or sustainability role in manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation, ISO 14001 requirements relevant to manufacturing.
• Experience managing environmental audits and compliance programmes.
• Experience in hazardous waste management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental Management System (EMS) and optimization across the business.
• Coordinate environmental audits, permits, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead environmental data analysis and KPI reporting with Head of QHSE.
• Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives across functions.
• Liaise with regulators, waste contractors, and industry bodies.
• Manage ESG and ISO 14001 compliance across sites.
