Job summary

ITM Power PLC in Sheffield is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the environmental management system and regulatory compliance across the business. You will oversee EMS/ISO 14001, audits, and sustainability initiatives while collaborating with R&D, Production, Facilities, Procurement, Finance and Sales.

You will report to the Head of QHSE and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance, waste reduction, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety.
Degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in an environmental, compliance or sustainability role in manufacturing.
Strong understanding of environmental legislation, ISO 14001 requirements and regulatory processes.
Experience managing environmental audits, accreditation schemes and compliance programmes, including hazardous waste management.

Responsibilities

Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System (EMS) and ISO 14001 compliance.
Coordinate environmental audits and accreditation schemes.
Monitor environmental performance and regulatory permits.
Lead environmental improvement projects across procurement and supply chain.
Develop environmental training packages and policies.
Liaise with regulators and environmental agencies.
