Renfrewshire Council seeks an Environmental Compliance Officer to patrol Renfrewshire, tackling environmental crime, antisocial behaviour and parking enforcement. You will advise residents and businesses, support the Community Safety Partnership, and help deliver public protection priorities.

The role requires an HND or equivalent or substantial enforcement experience, data protection knowledge, and a current driving licence, with Disclosure Scotland checks as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or significant enforcement experience.
• Experience in regulatory services / environmental enforcement.
• Knowledge of data protection and maintaining confidentiality.
• Current Driving Licence.
• Willing to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check.

Responsabilités

• Carry out regular patrols throughout Renfrewshire.
• Address environmental crime, antisocial behaviour and parking enforcement.
• Balance education, advice and enforcement to protect the public.
• Work with the Community Safety Partnership and Police Scotland.
• Lead a small team and contribute to service targets.
