Job summary

Northstone Materials is seeking an Environmental Advisor on maternity cover to ensure regulatory compliance across air, land, water and waste, while leading data reporting and KPI delivery. You will coordinate audits, liaise with regulators, and develop environmental plans to support site operations.

The role involves integrating biodiversity actions, maintaining health and safety standards on site, and communicating findings to internal teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate environmental based degree or equivalent.
• Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental legislation compliance.
• Interpret and report data and write detailed reports to strict deadlines.
• Liaise and support business operations.
• Maintain KPI target objectives and report delivery.
• Maintain and coordinate sample monitoring and testing.
• Incident investigations.
• Conduct production site and systems audits.
• Engage internally and externally with environmental regulator.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Assist delivery of biodiversity action plans.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards on site.
