Job summary

Keep Scotland Beautiful in Stirling is seeking a part-time Campaigns and Interventions Officer (0.8FTE) for a fixed term to 31 March 2027. The role focuses on delivering campaigns tackling marine and riverine litter and coordinating volunteers across Scotland.

You will work within a hybrid climate, reporting to the Senior Officer and collaborating with local and national stakeholders. The post requires strong community engagement and multi-channel communications skills.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of environmental issues and policy relating to litter, plastics pollution, circular economy and/or climate change.
  • Experience in environmental campaigns, education and awareness raising.
  • Ability to create, maintain and enhance working partnerships.
  • Experience of community engagement.
  • Experience of coordinating and supporting campaign supporters and volunteers.
  • Experience of working on a range of communications platforms and channels to support campaign delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate the development and delivery of our work on marine and riverine litter, including the Marine Litter Strategy and related campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with national and local stakeholders and monitor and evaluate activities.
  • Coordinate and support campaign supporters and volunteers across projects.
