Scottish Power Transmissions seeks Environmental Advisors for long-term contracts at Cambuslang with hybrid working. Roles vary from early to senior level within Delivery and Development teams.

You will support the Environmental Manager and engineering staff to maintain ISO 14001 accreditation, advise on regulatory compliance, and develop environmental plans and training across construction projects. This role requires on-site collaboration and proactive environmental stewardship.

Formación

• Experience in environmental management with ISO 14001 awareness.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulator engagement.
• Ability to influence, consult and communicate effectively.
• Degree in an environmental discipline is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with Environmental Management System to maintain ISO 14001.
• Provide guidance to project teams to meet statutory environmental requirements.
• Sustain and improve environmental procedures for construction projects.
• Offer specialist guidance on environmental controls and legislation.
• Develop and implement methods to improve environmental performance.
• Create Environmental Management Plans detailing surveys and licenses.
• Liaise with regulators and stakeholders throughout the project.
• Manage monitoring programs and prepare internal/external reports.
• Support investigation and reporting of environmental incidents.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and awareness initiatives.
• Review contractors' environmental documentation for regulatory compliance.
