Job summary

Aureos is seeking an Environmental Advisor to join our growing energy team in Scotland. The role provides technical support to projects and involves coordinating environmental assessments, waste management, and permitting activities.

You will manage ESMPs/SWMPs, discharge planning conditions, support Social Value reporting, and ensure compliance with Aureos procedures. Occasional travel to site locations is required.

Qualifications

• Environmental science/engineering/ Ecology degree with postgraduate preference.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Member of ISEP or similar body; CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction environmental assessments and advise on work programming.
• Manage waste records and environmental documentation (ESMPs/SWMPs).
• Review and discharge planning conditions and regulatory requirements.
• Support social value reporting and sustainability target delivery.
• Coordinate environmental permits with regulators; inspect sites and incidents.
