Position Overview:

This role focuses on analyzing and improving Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance on site, with about 75% of time on H&S and 25% on Environmental. Responsibilities include workplace inspections, compliance program design, training, and audits to prevent injuries and environmental impacts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor on-site HSE risks and controls, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and maintain HSE & ERT procedures.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations.
• Conduct HSE training sessions.
• Perform daily field audits and participate in risk assessments.
• Provide quarterly HSE training reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years’ experience in chemical plant or refinery sector.
• 4+ years’ experience in multiple HSE areas is a plus.
• Knowledge of UK/European HSE regulations and standards.
• Experience with incident investigation, emergency response, and industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively.
