Job summary

Blue Zoo is seeking an Environment Designer to translate concepts into detailed set environments, from rough sketches to final approved designs under the Art Director’s supervision. You will collaborate with Design and Asset Departments, shaping environments that support story and staging requirements.

Based in the UK (outside M25) and able to work within a team, you will produce accurate drawings, manage assets, and respond constructively to notes, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining

Qualifications

• A portfolio that demonstrates a variety of environment design options that fit into a story/world.
• Be able to present work clearly, showing thought process and purpose.
• Strong knowledge of colour, lighting, and value.
• Experience with timelines and meeting design deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed drawings at correct scale for environment specifications.
• Collaborate with Design and Asset Departments.
• Interpret concepts and support team with notes.
