Recruitment Consultant – Buy-Side / Hedge Fund Technology

Location: Moorgate, London (4 days on-site)

Working Hours: US Hours – Monday to Thursday, 10:00–19:00 | Friday, 10:00–17:00

Earning Potential: Competitive base salary + Commission up to 40%

An elite recruitment firm specialising in placing top-tier tech talent into the buy-side and hedge fund space is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their growing London team. Based in modern offices near Moorgate, this is a high-performance, high-reward environment suited to driven individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-focused culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates to client management and offer negotiation.
• Working exclusively with high-end buy-side clients (hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and asset managers).
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
• Developing a deep understanding of the hedge fund technology space (engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, quant, etc.).
• Working closely with a seasoned team and leveraging a warm, high-value client base.
• Delivering consistently under the US working hours to align with client expectations.

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong understanding of - or a keen interest in - the hedge fund, trading, or buy-side environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative approach.
• Highly motivated, target-driven, and resilient with a desire to build long-term client partnerships.
• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative and high-performance team.
• Comfortable working US hours in a high-energy office, 4 days a week on-site.
