Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Entry Level Lab Tech to join our rapidly expanding team. This individual must be capable of performing basic tasks such as visual inspection at incoming, count verification, equipment setup, part drying, and packaging with low to moderate supervision. More complex tasks like equipment operation and cleanliness verification will be performed with guidance from a qualified Cleaning Operator or Technician.

Salary: $19- $22/hr DOE

Responsibilities

Essential duties include:

1. Perform incoming inspection of customer hardware, verifying counts, part numbers, and condition, and recording on appropriate forms.
2. Prepare customer hardware for cleanliness testing, including degreasing, ultrasonic cleaning, and manual cleaning.
3. Prepare cleaning and testing supplies, such as weighing filters and preparing fluids.
4. Set up and perform cleaning operations and basic tests under supervision.
5. Package parts and label bags.
6. Maintain an organized and clean work area, tools, equipment, and supplies.

Skills / Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; mechanical aids are available for heavier weights.
• Standing for 8 hours may be required.
• Exposure to mild alkaline and acidic detergents and organic solvents.
