Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking an Assistant Health & Safety Advisor to join our growing Health & Safety Team on high–value construction projects in Sheffield. This entry–level role offers full training and support to help you start a career in health & safety while contributing to our strong safety culture.

You will work with experienced professionals, participate in inspections and campaigns, and work toward relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

Interest in health & safety and a desire to develop a career within the profession.
Good IT skills and confidence using technology.
Good communication skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels.
Willingness to learn, develop new skills and undertake relevant professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

Support H&S Advisors in promoting high standards of Health & Safety across our projects and wider business.
Provide practical Health & Safety support to teams at all levels of the organisation.
Assist with Health & Safety inspections, audits and incident investigations.
Support the development and implementation of Health & Safety initiatives and campaigns.
Develop your knowledge and experience through on–the–job learning and working alongside experienced H&S professionals.
Work towards relevant Health & Safety qualifications as part of your professional development.
