Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to machine or modify components made from aluminum, copper, or steel.
• Ability to solder components together and bond aluminum and copper effectively.
• Ability to braze components together using the appropriate process.
• Understanding of welding process and design.
• Must know how to leak check hardware effectively.
• Ability to perform minor electrical work for setting up tests.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication and testing of hardware in the laboratory.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings following GD&T standards.
• Follow ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and organize tools after use.
• Set up and conduct laboratory tests to investigate performance.
