Job description

Salary: £34,434 - £36,363 per annum

Hours per week: 37 hours

Interview date: Tuesday 15 September 2026

We are looking for an Entitlement and Inclusion Lead Worker to join our dedicated and supportive Alternative Provision team within the Targeted Education Service.

In this role, you will work closely with parents, guardians, schools and alternative education providers to ensure that every child receives the education to which they are entitled. You will be a key point of contact, helping to coordinate support, develop personalised plans and remove barriers to learning.

Your role will involve working in partnership with families and professionals to assess needs, set goals and provide tailored guidance. You will also support inclusion in mainstream education wherever possible and contribute to service improvements through training and strategic planning.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience working with children and families with SEND, a strong understanding of relevant legislation and excellent communication and organisational skills. A full UK driving licence is required, as regular travel to schools and other settings is expected.

If you are committed to making a difference in the lives of young people and want to ensure they receive the education they deserve, we would love to hear from you.
