Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Bedfordshire is seeking a Childcare Activity Leader for Breakfast Club and After School Wraparound. This casual, zero-hour role offers mornings and afternoons with a break in between, and potential hour increases during Holiday Club seasons.

You will deliver exciting activities, supervise children, prepare snacks, and manage sign-in/out while maintaining a safe, welcoming space. DBS checked and two references required.

Qualifications

• Experience or ability to work with children and create engaging activities.
• Proven people skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Bonus for teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities such as sports, crafts, games.
• Set up play spaces, maintain safety, cleanliness and engagement.
• Supervise children with warmth and energy, ensuring inclusivity.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out with attention to detail.
• Work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–6:00pm.
