Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design of enterprise-scale solutions in a UK context. You will define architecture for SaaS products, microservices, APIs and file-based transfers, and partner with engineering teams to deliver value-for-money cloud solutions.

The role requires engaging senior stakeholders, creating governance artefacts and driving architectural patterns across finance, estates or similar domains.

Qualifications

• Experience designing SaaS architectures.
• Strong background in microservices, API design and cloud patterns.
• Engagement with stakeholders to define architectural standards.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience with SaaS product selection and implementation.
• Deep technical knowledge designing microservices, APIs and file-based transfers.
• Event-based architecture design and patterns.
• Design technical solutions (products and services) to meet user needs and align with technical strategy and standards.
• Provide a consistent set of solution views to communicate construction of the solution to stakeholders.
• Champion solution communication and simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Lead delivery, technical and architecture design of enterprise-scale systems in areas such as finance or estates.
• Support delivery teams and collaborate with engineering to create value-for-money solutions.
• Identify and implement architecture patterns; resolve technical debt to reduce IT costs.
• Develop product roadmaps and represent designs at governance forums.
• Utilize public cloud technologies and design patterns and engage senior stakeholders.
• Act as an expert solutions architect with working experience in microservices, APIs and file-based transfers.
