We have a fantastic opportunity for an Enterprise Risk Senior Manager to join our Group Enterprise Risk team. This role is ideal for a proactive and curious individual with insurance industry experience, seeking a high-exposure position to make an impact on Aviva by identifying emerging risks and challenging the business plan. About the job:

Our team provides groupwide oversight and challenge of the top risks facing Aviva by setting policies and frameworks on risk management and producing insightful analysis for senior management, Boards & Committees. The role involves leading or supporting thematic risk reviews, business plan reviews, risk opinions on material decisions, and assessing the effectiveness of risk management across business units, ensuring Boards are informed of material and emerging risks.

Skills and experience required:

• Extensive experience and knowledge of enterprise risk management within the insurance industry, including understanding of Solvency UK and Canadian regulations, to produce insightful risk opinions.
• Deep understanding of insurance products (life and general insurance), risk management frameworks, and balance sheet dynamics. Ability to act as a technical lead on Emerging Risks and business plan reviews, driving tangible actions.
• Proven ability to operate effectively across teams and markets, building positive yet challenging relationships with senior management in the first line.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Driven, proactive, with strong prioritization skills to deliver outcomes.
