Vacancy for Senior Manager - DPC Americas

In collaboration with the Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC), ITHAKA is seeking a Senior Manager for DPC Americas to lead a new program of work in the USA, which will support existing and new members across the region. The role of the new USA-based DPC-dedicated staff member will be to bring greater attention and access to good practice and excellence within the dynamic digital preservation community from across the Americas.

Employed by ITHAKA and seconded 100% to the DPC, this role will be responsible for ensuring DPC members across North, Central, and South America can fully access and develop the benefits of their membership, with events at convenient times and locations. Supporting the DPC in the Americas, the DPC-dedicated member of staff will identify stakeholders, advocates, and potential new members and partners, forming relationships, and developing plans and tools to facilitate the expansion of the membership and operation of the DPC.

This is a high-profile and wide-ranging role, and the ideal candidate will have proven understanding of digital preservation and/or related subject areas, will be comfortable communicating to build and sustain strong relationships and will be able to work independently, flexibly and proactively across a number of projects and initiatives simultaneously.
