Enterprise Risk Management Lead

On behalf of our insurance client, Lutine Bell is recruiting a senior Enterprise Risk Management professional.

You will play a key role in enhancing and embedding the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, ensuring alignment with the firm's risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the ongoing development and operation of the ERM Framework, Risk Policy, and Risk Appetite Framework.
• Oversee key risk processes including Stress & Scenario Testing, Recovery & Resolution Planning, and the ORSA.
• Provide second line oversight and support to first line teams on risk management practices.
• Act as a champion for emerging risk identification and continuous improvement in risk governance.
• Collaborate across the Risk function and wider business to embed best practice.

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant ERM experience within a UK life insurer, general insurance or pensions risk context. An understanding of the bulk annuity market would be advantageous but not essential.
• Deep technical knowledge of risk frameworks, regulatory requirements, and reporting (e.g. ORSA, SST, RRP).
• Proven ability to lead, influence and communicate across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience in a second line, consulting, or audit role with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
