Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a superstar risk specialist for a full-time permanent role in London. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £105k plus a strong bonus, with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and will be groomed as a potential successor. Ideal candidates will have over five years of experience in a second line risk role, with a strong background in Operational Risk, Credit, and Market Risk. I am working with a global Investment Banking group who are heavily investing in their high flying UK business. The CRO has a strong team in situ and is looking for a superstar risk specialist who will bridge the gap between the CRO and the rest of the team. Excitingly the CRO is keen to develop this person into their successor.

You will have at least 5 years + in a 2nd line risk role with broad risk exposure (ideally with proven Operational risk but Credit and Market risk also highly valued) and have working experience of Wholesale Markets.

This is the no2 role so you will need to be an excellent communicator, have high leadership potential and be super comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
