Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Product Owner in Manchester to bridge clients and the development team, turning business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria. You will own roadmaps, prioritise backlogs and guide multiple enterprise applications through Agile delivery.

You’ll collaborate with developers, testers and stakeholders, refine backlogs, run stand-ups and demos, and help document features from concept to release in a growing Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile product role.
• Strong experience gathering and analysing business requirements.
• Confident writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with developers, testers and business users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confluence
• SQL
• Experience working with APIs and integration projects.
• Understanding of JSON, CSV or other data formats.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product roadmaps and backlog management across multiple web and API-based applications.
• Work closely with clients, developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into deliverable solutions.
• Join a collaborative Agile team where you'll have genuine influence over product direction.
• Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale software used by organisations across international markets.
• As Product Owner, bridge between clients and development team, gathering requirements, defining roadmaps and ensuring value.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Support feature demonstrations, assist with issue investigation, contribute to documentation and collaborate to deliver from concept through release.
