Job summary

Universal Music Group seeks a Network Engineer to join the Network Build Team in London. You will own infrastructure project delivery and migrations, ensuring security and ITIL-aligned standards while collaborating with stakeholders and service providers.

Role requires CCNP or higher, strong routing/switching and security experience, plus proficiency with BGP/OSPF, IPSEC/VPN, and Palo Alto firewalls. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT experience with at least 2 years as Network Engineer in large scale networks.
• Experience designing and implementing network solutions for enterprise environments.
• Proficiency with BGP/OSPF, IPSEC/VPN, and firewall configurations.
• Strong communication skills and English fluency.
• CCNP or higher certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate network enhancements and deployment efforts.
• Develop and implement migration plans.
• Design and configure network and security equipment.
• Install network hardware to support designs.
• Liaise between stakeholders and IT; ensure documentation and training.
• Coordinate with service providers for network circuits.
• Ensure ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change processes.
• Attend technical review meetings and ensure designs meet standards.
