Job summary

The Crown Estate seeks a Leadership, Performance & Talent Director to shape the organisation's leadership, performance and talent ecosystems. You will develop a scalable framework, embed standards, identify succession opportunities and guide executive hiring governance with strong data-driven insight.

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing and leading enterprise-wide leadership, performance and talent strategies aligned to business objectives.
• Strong expertise in evidence led practice, drawing on psychology, behavioural science and workforce insights.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to influence talent and succession decisions.
• Track record delivering outcomes through collaboration and influence.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the enterprise-wide leadership, performance and talent framework.
• Embed leadership expectations and performance standards into everyday practice.
• Lead talent identification, succession planning and pipeline development.
• Use data, diagnostics and insight to assess capability and inform investment decisions.
• Shape development and coaching strategies to deliver performance outcomes.
• Govern executive and senior hiring frameworks for alignment with capability needs.
• Be the business owner for performance technology and drive adoption and governance.
• Ensure fair, evidence-based leadership and talent decisions aligned to priorities.
• Collaborate with People and Culture teams to deliver impact.
