Job summary

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data architecture or enterprise data modelling within large organisations.
• Ability to provide architectural oversight for data product flows, sourcing, lineage and controls.
• Identifies data debt, challenges and control gaps for sustainable improvements.
• Deep knowledge of banking products, risk frameworks and regulatory data requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern the bank's target data architecture in line with strategy.
• Collaborate with data operations, engineers and analysts to promote standardised data usage.
• Maintain governance, standards and protection policies for data models and stores.
• Ensure projects align with target architecture and monitor progress.
• Define reusable data capabilities to connect sources and optimise storage.
• Oversee the overarching data model across physical resources (databases, interfaces, reports).
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on operations and portfolio.
• Identify and select best-in-class data technologies and ensure SLA/compliance.
